Comely Bank Road

Here at Comely Bank Road, central Edinburgh, TBM Property carried out a complete renovation of a ground floor flat which included painting and decorating, electrical work, flooring and the supply of new windows, floors, kitchen units and a central heating system. The flat was renovated and modernised throughout.

Here at Moray Place, central Edinburgh, TBM Property carried out a part renovation of a New town flat which included painting and decorating, electrical work, flooring and the supply of new appliances. We changed the colour in the hallway to Eygtian cotton, while carefully preserving and covering the existing furniture and original wodden details. In the kitchen we prepared, painted, and decorated the walls and skirting board. The stair received a new quality 80/20 wool twist carpet with bound edges up to the first floor. In the first floor living room we perfectly matched the existing paintwork while installing new power sockets and repairing old and tired wardrobes and window shutters and frames.

This required the close co-ordination of various sub contractors in order to carry out the works in the time deadline required by the client. TBM Property worked closely with the client and all works were carried out to the clients requirements and requests. The Brief and Process.
This project involved the installation of a back pantry kitchen, removal, renovation and installation
of new bespoke toughened double glazed back doors to the garden. Creation of a new partition wall, electrical installation of a new ring circuit in the sitting room, electric shower and lighting installation, and creation of new bespoke shelving, window seats and general joinery. Renovation and installation of a period fireplace. Supply and fit of new internal period doors. Painting and decorating.
The brief from the client evolved as the project progressed from an initial estimate which involved approximately two weeks work to eventually approximately three months work involving several sub contractors. This process was co-ordinated by TBM Property with direction and close consultation with the client to ensure time deadlines were met, client targets achieved, with sympathetic attention to detail that every period property requires.

This project involved the complete renovation of the men’s bathroom area to create a new shower room with toilets. The creation of a new staff room with kitchen, new external doors, new windows through out the main office area and the exterior decoration of one side of the building.
